Today, 64 percent of all organizations worldwide say that they use some sort of managed IT service. What does this future hold for the IT industry? Furthermore, an organized infrastructure is created through the use of standardized communication protocols and hardware requirements. Finally, it is common for an organization to be able to more effectively support various operating systems and Microsoft technologies by leveraging the many collaboration and access functions available through the use of remote support services.

On a more tangible level, managed services providers also allow organizations to more effectively control access to sensitive data. When servers and computers are not located in-house, it is impossible to prevent the theft of data or the installation of unauthorized programs.
